Active Storm Advisory – Hurricane Jose #39

Hurricane Jose has increased slightly in intensity, now with sustained winds of 70 knots. Jose will curve toward the northwest then north over the next few days and is expected to become a tropical storm during that timeframe.

Active Storm Advisory – Hurricane Jose #40

Hurricane Jose now has sustained winds of 65 knots. No significant changes in intensity is expected as Jose tracks northwest then north over the next few days.

Active Storm Advisory – Tropical Storm Jose #41

Jose has weakened somewhat due to the continued presence of strong northerly shear across the region, and is now just below hurricane strength with sustained winds of 60 knots. However, guidance is suggestive that Jose will eventually re-intensify to hurricane strength as it lifts northward through the Gulf Stream beyond 24 hours.
