Active Storm Advisory – Hurricane Irma #27

Intensification into a Category 4 is likely over the next 24-48 hours. The radius of maximum winds associated with Irma are forecast to pass dangerously close to the Leeward Islands including, but not limited to the Virgin Islands.

Active Storm Advisory – Hurricane Irma #28

Intensification into a Category 4 is likely over the next 36 hours. Hurricane force winds are likely to impact portions of the Leeward Islands within 48 hours. Hurricane conditions are forecast to spread into portions of coastal Hispaniola, the Bahamas, and Cuba over the next 3-5 days.
