Tropical Storm Harvey continues with maximum sustained winds at 40 knots. TS Harvey has begun to move to the east-northeast with landfall forecast between 30 and 36 hours.

***Historic, life-threatening flooding continues across SE Texas.*** The center of Harvey is forecast to move inland near Cameron Parish, Louisiana, within 24-36 hours. Little to no strengthening is forecast.

There is still a possibility that Potential Tropical Cyclone Ten will organize enough to be classified as a minimal tropical storm while passing over the Outer Banks of North Carolina over the next 12-18 hours.

PTC Ten is changing into a mid-latitude low and moving out into the north Atlantic. Conditions should begin to settle down over parts of NC and the southern Chesapeake Bay region today as the low moves away.
