Please kindly find attached latest Baltic Ice Reports
There are no considerable changes in ice conditions since our latest ice report yet. However, taking into account weather forecast for next few days with low air temperatures up to -10…-18C which will increase ice formation, Harbour Master has ordered first formal step of ice restrictions at Ust-Luga port (in case of ice thickness 10-15 cm):
Since 16.02.2017:
– tug + barge tandems will not be allowed to navigate in ice;
– vessels without ice class – will be allowed to navigate in ice under icebreakers assistance only;
– vessels having ice class (Ice 1 / 1D or higher) – will be allowed to navigate in ice by own power following icebreakers permission/recommendations.
FYI: Ice restrictions in other ports still remain unchanged.
