Nigeria – Port Situation

With regards to current pipeline being vandalised by the militants, please note current Port situation at the concerned terminals.

FORCADOS (SHELL) TERMINAL
There has not been Export operations in Forcados for 2m onths now due to on-going maintenance of Export lines.

ESCRAVOS (CHEVRON) TERMINAL
Though production has reduced due to blowing up of supply pipelines, export operation is on-going. Vessel’s approximate waiting time before loading remains 48hrs. Loading rate has dropped from 26,000bbls / 27,000bbls to 21,000bbls/hr.

BRASS (BRASS) TERMINAL
Force Majeure has been declared in Brass terminal due to vandalisation of one of the major supply lines which has affected production. However, export operations in on-going. Vessel’s approximate waiting time before loading is 72hrs – 96hrs. Loading rate has dropped from 38,000bbls / 39,000bbls to 32,000bbls/hr.

QUA IBOE (EXXON MOBIL) TERMINAL
Production operation was affected by the movement of RIG at the Qua Iboe region which resulted in pipeline burst. However, export is on-going at the moment. Vessel’s approximate waiting time before loading is 72hrs. Loading rate has now dropped to 36,000bbls to 21,000bbls / 23,000bbls/hr.

BONNY OFFSHORE (SHELL) TERMINAL
The blowing up of terminal’s major supply line (Nembe creek) has adversely affected production. At the moment, Force Majeure has been declared at the terminal. However, export operation is on-going. Vessel’s approximate waiting time before loading is 48hrs – 72hrs. Loading rate is currently at 55,000bbls/hr
