Servitisation

Instead of selling a product, imagine selling that product as a service. For example, not selling a car, but selling driving time/mileage. For eleven months of the year that might be in something very practical for everyday motoring, but in the summer it might be in a convertible or a people carrier for the holidays. Makes for many more logistical headaches, but you cannot deny that it makes a very attractive proposition for the consumer.
