Significant Tropical Disturbance Advisory – Invest 92L #15

Convection for Invest 92L remains incredibly limited this morning, and the area of low pressure is incredibly broad in nature. This trend will likely continue over the next couple of days as 92L makes landfall across Florida and then likely dissipates. Some model tracks do have the system re-emerging along the East Coast of the US beyond the forecast timeframe and then possibly re-developing, but as of this time the limited agreement in model guidance on this late term track plus stronger confidence in a westward track early on makes this a very low risk and hazard.

Significant Tropical Disturbance Advisory – Harvey #26

Tropical Disturbance Harvey will be entering the Bay of Campeche later Tuesday, at which it is expected to redevelop into a tropical cyclone. The latest forecast has Harvey steadily intensifying through the southern Gulf of Mexico and into the Lower Texas Coast by the end of the week. Interests across the region will want to closely monitor the progress of this potentially dangerous situation.
