Significant Tropical Disturbance Advisory – Invest 94L #4

Invest 94L is showing signs of life with new bursts of deep convection potentially beginning to consolidate within a low-level circulation. Slow but steady development of 94L is forecast through 120 hours and a tropical depression could form later today or tonight. 94L will track west-northwest, eventually re-curving northward just short of the northern Leeward Islands by day 5.

Significant Tropical Disturbance Advisory – Invest 95L #1

STDA #1 – Invest 95L

Invest 95L has formed a trackable center over the last several hours as showers and thunderstorms continue to flare around a disorganized trough of low pressure. Conditions are forecast to continue to remain only marginally favorable over the next few days across the Bay of Campeche as strong wind shear will remain in place as Invest 95L meanders around the region.

Significant Tropical Disturbance Advisory – Invest 95L #2

Invest 95L looks fairly organized on satellite, with deep convection starting to circle around a low level circulation. This system will likely be named a depression within the next day, and based on model guidance (as scattered and varied as it is), it will likely become a tropical storm within the next two days. Model guidance is, however, in good agreement that within 3-5 days, this invest will track inland across Mexico. The high terrain of the region will tear apart whatever is left, and cause the system to dissipate.
