Celebrating Local Roots and Industry Connections at Suffolk Show debut
The Suffolk Show is one of the county’s most anticipated events of the summer. Each year it provides a showcase for the people, businesses and industries that help shape Suffolk. From agriculture and rural enterprises to local organisations and families, the show creates an environment where communities can connect, collaborate and showcase what they do.
That made it the perfect setting for Cory Brothers’ first appearance as an exhibitor. While our history dates to Cardiff in 1842, Suffolk has been home to our headquarters for decades. As a business that works closely with industries that keep goods moving around the world, we understand the importance of supporting the communities and sectors that underpin the local economy. We were proud to be part of an event that reflects so many of the values that are important to our business – community, collaboration and strong local connections.
Across two sunny days the Cory Brothers team exhibited alongside Baker Transport, welcoming visitors from across Suffolk and beyond. The event provided a fantastic opportunity to meet customers, partners, and new contacts, while sharing more about the services we provide and the industries we support. Our stand proved popular with visitors of all ages, with mini trucks giving children the chance to get behind the wheel and experience what it’s like to operate a truck, alongside merchandise and plenty of opportunities to stop by and chat with the team. It was fantastic to see so many families enjoying everything the show had to offer while taking the time to learn more about the businesses that support the region.
Of course, no recap of Suffolk Show 2026 would be complete without mentioning a very special first appearance. Cory the Dragon made his official debut at the show and quickly became a favourite with children and families visiting the stand. From posing for photos to spreading smiles around the showground, he certainly embraced the community spirit of the event.
He even took part in the mascot race. While he may not have taken home the trophy, he gave it his all and was proud to share the track with Bluey and Crazee from Ipswich Town, helping create one of the most memorable moments of the event.
From LAMMA to Suffolk Show
For Cory Brothers, the Suffolk Show was a natural follow-on from LAMMA, allowing us to strengthen existing relationships and engage with familiar faces from across the agricultural sector. As one of the UK’s leading agricultural machinery and technology exhibitions, LAMMA brings together stakeholders from across the industry. Many of the people we met at Suffolk Show were familiar faces from the event, attending both events allows us to stay connected with the sectors we support, better understand the challenges facing businesses across the agricultural supply chain and continue building partnerships that extend far beyond the exhibition hall.
Looking ahead
Our first Suffolk Show was a fantastic experience and a proud milestone for the team. More importantly, it was a reminder of the strength of Suffolk’s agricultural sector, business community and local partnerships.
We would like to thank everyone who visited our stand, stopped for a conversation and helped make the event such a success. We look forward to continuing the conversations started at Suffolk Show and LAMMA, supporting the industries that help drive the region forward and returning again next year.
