Tropical Daily Planner – Atlantic

The close of the Atlantic hurricane season is only one week away, and conditions are already proving to be largely unfavorable for tropical cyclone development. Currently, the entirety of the Atlantic Basin is blanketed in strong to very strong shear. The weather pattern in the short term will favour the passage of multiple mid-latitude low pressure systems off the East Coast of the United States, which will continue to bring hostile conditions to the Caribbean, as well as the Central Atlantic. As such, tropical cyclone development chances will remain minimal through the next five days.
