Tropical Daily Planner – Atlantic

High wind shear continues across the entire Atlantic Basin this morning along with areas of dry air noted on satellite. Currently, a broad upper low is situated over the North Atlantic with a trough axis extending south-westward all the way into the Bahamas. What little shower and thunderstorm activity is noted on satellite is largely disorganized and not expected to pose any substantial threats. The close of the Atlantic hurricane season is nearly upon us and a minimal threat for tropical cyclone development is forecast through the next five days.
