Once again unfavorable conditions will continue to persist across much if not all of the North Atlantic. Strong wind shear and pockets of dry air will continue to inhibit tropical cyclone development and model guidance continues to suggest that these unfavorable conditions will continue to persist over the next several days. Given this, tropical cyclone development remains unlikely over the next five days. Today is also the final day of the North Atlantic tropical season and this will be the final Atlantic Tropical Daily Planner for 2017 unless another system forms between December and June. Regardless WDT will continue to monitor for potential signs of development across the basin should any occur.
